Winged Lioness
This magnificent creature, the “Winged Lioness” is a representation of a mythical symbolic beast most frequently found in the art of the ancient Persian and Sumerian cultures. While the lion is often seen as symbolic of the sun and its power, the lioness, although fierce, has a protective female aspect.
Cast in frost proof casting stone the Winged Lioness can remain outdoors all year round. The Lioness is 19 x 19cm at the base, 24cm at its widest point (the wings), and 60cm high. It weighs about 28kg. The colour shown here is white, but other colours can be produced on request. Please contact us about availability.
