This remarkable artwork depicts a face disguised with an elaborate Venetian mask.Venetian masks are a centuries-old tradition in Venice. The masks are typically worn during Carnival, but have been used on many other occasions in the past, usually as a device for hiding the wearer’s identity and social status. This piece is part of our Cotswold Collection; finely crafted ornaments suitable for indoors and outdoors.

Cast by hand in frost proof casting stone mixed with Iberian marble the Venetian Mask can remain outdoors all year round. It is 26cm wide x 42cm high, and weighs about 8kg. The colour is Cotswold sandstone. The Venetian Mask is cast with a strong hook for secure display.
