Description
Satyr Plaque
In Greek mythology a Satyr was a woodland spirit and companion to the god Dionysus. Usually depicted as having the horns and the legs of a goat it’s believed that these animal attributes reflect the way in which satyrs embody the wild, uninhibited forces of nature. And with their lascivious appetites and insatiable lust for female companionship satyrs have earned a reputation for naughtiness that has made them legendary over the centuries.
