Description
Rude Gargoyle
Stone carvers in the medieval and Gothic periods often allowed their imaginations free rein and delighted in poking fun at humanity and the human form. This startling figure is a typical example of the many thousands of such carvings that can be seen on cathedrals, churches, and other buildings of the period.
Cast by hand in frost proof casting stone the Rude Gargoyle can remain outdoors all year round. It is 14cm wide, 15cm high, and weighs about 1.6kg. It is cast with a strong hook for secure display. The colour is weathered brown stone. All our ornaments are cast and coloured by hand at our workshop in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
