Owl Ridgetile “V” tile
This magnificent owl gazes out across the rooftops with a watchful eye and looks impressive, even in silhouette. In Victorian times ornamental finials, or ridgetiles, were extremely popular as decorative elements for roofs and gables. In more recent years there has been renewed interest in bringing more life and individuality to buildings, or to replace original pieces.
The Owl Ridgetile is cast in frostproof casting stone and can remain outdoors all year round. The ridgetile is 44cm high, 21cm wide, 18cm in depth (depth of the tile), and weighs about 9kg. The angle of the tile is 90 degrees and the pitch is 45 degrees. The colour is aged terracotta.
This design is also available on a half-round tile.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
