Owl Ridgetile (half-round tile)
This magnificent owl gazes out across the rooftops with a watchful eye and looks impressive, even in silhouette. In Victorian times ornamental finials, or ridgetiles, were extremely popular as decorative elements for roofs and gables. In more recent years there has been renewed interest in bringing more life and individuality to buildings, or to replace original pieces.
The Owl Ridgetile is cast in frostproof casting stone and can remain outdoors all year round. The ridgetile is 42.5cm high, 21cm wide, 17cm in depth (depth of the tile), and weighs about 10kg. The tile is half-round with an inner width of 21cm. The colour is aged terracotta.
This design is also available on a V tile.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
