Owl & Moon Plaque
In worldwide mythology owls are often seen as mysterious because they are mostly active in the dark of night, a time of magic and mystery. Most legends and beliefs associate the owl with wisdom, not intellectual wisdom, but rather, the wisdom of the soul. The owl’s companion, the moon, with its cycles of renewal is a well-known symbol of the feminine and fertility.
