Description
Mucha Plaque “Evening Reverie”
Alphonse Mucha created many designs themed on the seasons of the year and the times of the day. This design represents the mood accompanying the end of the day – evening reverie.
Art Nouveau is an instantly recognisable style of decorative art, architecture, and design that was prominent in Western Europe and the USA from about 1890 until the First World War, characterized by intricate linear designs and flowing curves based on natural forms.
