Mucha Plaque “Evening Reverie”
Alphonse Mucha created many designs themed on the seasons of the year and the times of the day. This design represents the mood accompanying the end of the day – evening reverie.
Art Nouveau is an instantly recognisable style of decorative art, architecture, and design that was prominent in Western Europe and the USA from about 1890 until the First World War, characterized by intricate linear designs and flowing curves based on natural forms.
This Mucha Plaque is part of our Cotswold Collection; finely crafted ornaments suitable for indoors and outdoors.
Cast in frost proof casting stone the Mucha Plaque can remain outdoors all year round, but is also perfect for indoor placement. The piece is 13cm wide, 31cm high, and weighs about 1.8kg. The plaque is cast with a strong hook for secure display. The colour is Cotswold sandstone with a weathered marble-like finish. All our ornaments are cast and coloured in our workshop in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
