Moongazing Hare Ridgetile “V” tile
This is a superb decorative ridge tile displaying a moongazing hare. In Victorian times ornamental ridge tiles, or finials, were extremely popular as decorative elements for roofs and gables. In more recent years there has been a resurgence in the desire to bring more life and individuality to buildings, or to replace original pieces.
The ridge tile is cast in frostproof casting stone and can remain outdoors all year round. The ridge tile is 41cm high, 21cm wide (inner width of tile), 18cm deep (depth of the tile), and weighs about 7kg. The angle of the tile is 90 degrees and the pitch is 45 degrees.
This design is also available on a half-round tile.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
