Tree Spirits are often depicted as female in worldwide mythology. Our Meredith Treeman is more closely related to the Old Man of the Woods, a common character in Norse mythical fables.

The Meredith Treeman is a highly detailed and sharply defined piece, a genuine tree spirit with an insightful, intense air about him. Although not technically a Green Man tree spirits and the Green Man are closely related.

Cast by hand in frostproof casting stone the Meredith Treeman can remain outdoors all year round. He is 22cm wide, 30cm high and weighs approximately 3.5kg. He is cast with a strong hook for secure display. The colour is Cotswold sandstone.

All our ornaments are cast and coloured by hand in our workshop in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
