Louise Scott “Two Hares” Plaque
The hare is widely represented in world mythology and from ancient times has had divine associations. Its swiftness and elusive behaviour, particularly at night, have reinforced its reputation as a magical creature.
The Two Hares Plaque is part of our Cotswold Collection; finely crafted ornaments suitable for both indoors and outdoors.
Louise Scott is a Glasgow-based artist, specialising in copper plate etchings and marine life images. Her inspiration comes from the natural world and the animals that inhabit earth, air and water. You can see more of her work here: www.louise-scott.co.uk
This representation of Louise Scott’s work is cast by hand in frost proof casting stone and can remain outdoors all year round. The ornament is 19.5 x 19.5 and weighs about 1.8kg. The colour is Cotswold sandstone. It is cast with a strong hook at the back for secure display.
All our ornaments are cast and coloured by hand in our workshop in Zeeland, The Netherlands.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
