Jolly Green Man
Many historic and contemporary depictions of the Green Man show him as a stern or enigmatic figure, emblematic of autumn or winter and all that that entails. Occasionally though he is seen as benign, kindly, or as in this case, as being full of the joys of Spring.
This is a hand-crafted and hand-coloured ornament, made in frost proof casting stone. The Jolly Green Man is 32cm in diameter and weighs about 5kg. The ornament is cast with a strong hook for secure display.
All our ornaments are cast and coloured in our workshop in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
Colours can vary from the photo. Because our ornaments are hand crafted and coloured, no two pieces are exactly the same.
