Green Woman (small)

Wherever there is a Green Man you need a Green Woman to bring balance and equanimity. Green Women appear in various forms in mythology but in general are less common than Green Men, probably because they were harder to adapt to the needs of Christian iconography. Yet quite a few appear in Romanesque churches built before the 16th century, and feminine aspects of the energy the Green Man represents can be found in every culture throughout history.

Cast in frostproof casting stone this Green Woman is suitable for both indoors and outdoors. The ornament is 10cm diameter and weighs roughly 250grams. The ornament is cast with a strong hook for secure display.

All our ornaments are made and finished by hand at our workshop in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
