Green Maiden (small)
The Green Man’s female counterpart is often depicted in stone carvings as a young woman or maiden. Green Women are far less common than Green Men, being harder to adapt to Christian iconography or Victorian decoration, yet many of them appear in Romanesque churches built before the 16th century.
All our ornaments are made and finished by hand at our workshop in Zeeland, the Netherlands. Cast in frostproof casting stone the Green Maiden is suitable for both indoors and outdoors. The ornament is 10.5 x 10.5cm and weighs about 0.4kg and is cast with a strong hook for secure display.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are cast and coloured by hand no two are exactly alike.
