Goblin Pierre & Frog
One of a trio of sprightly French goblins, this finely detailed Pierre seems almost to jump out at you from the surrounding foliage. Goblins have a reputation for being troublesome mischief makers although, like this one, many are just playful little imps. The word “Goblin” comes from the Latin “Gobelinus”, a popular name for a spirit which haunted the neighbourhood of Évreux, Normandy in medieval times.
Cast by hand in frost proof casting stone the Goblin Pierre & Frog can remain outdoors all year round. The piece is cast with a strong hook for secure display, is 14cm in diameter and weighs about 1kg. The colour is Cotswold sandstone.
All our ornaments are cast and coloured by hand in our workshop in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are cast and coloured by hand no two are exactly alike.
