Description
Gargoyle Ridgetile “V” tile
This is a decorative ridgetile displaying the image of a rude and nasty gargoyle. Gargoyles were frequently placed in churches and other buildings in the Middle Ages as water spouts, but they were also expected to ensure that evil spirits stayed away.
The Gargoyle Ridgetile is cast in frostproof casting stone and can remain outdoors all year round. The ridgetile is 35cm high, 21cm wide, 19cm in depth, and weighs about 10kg. The angle of the tile is 90 degrees and the pitch is 45 degrees. The colour is aged terracotta.
This design is also available on a half-round tile.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
