Description

Finglas

Finglas, meaning ‘hair-leaf’’ in the Sindarin language was an Ent of Fangorn Forest. In Tolkien lore he was one of the oldest Ents at the end of the Third Age, and he, Fladrif, and Treebeard were the only ones left of the first Ents in Middle-earth. Although not technically a Green Man Finglas is very closely related.

Cast by hand in frost proof casting stone Finglas can remain outdoors all year round. He is 20cm wide, 24cm high, and weighs approximately 3kg. The colour is Cotswold sandstone. All our ornaments are cast and coloured by hand at our workshop in Zeeland, the Netherlands.

Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
