Fangorn
Named after the forest where he lived, the oldest of the race of Ents was Fangorn. Also known as Treebeard, his name in the Sindarin language comes from the word “fanga” meaning beard, and “orne” meaning tree. Although not technically a Green Man, Fangorn and the Green Man are closely related.
