Description
Brighton Dragon Ridgetile (medium) “V” tile
This superb roof finial is a copy of a Victorian original and displays a dragon poised to fly. In Victorian times ornamental finials, or ridgetiles, were extremely popular as decorative elements for roofs and gables. In more recent years there has been renewed interest in bringing more life and individuality to buildings, or to replace original pieces.
The Brighton Dragon Ridgetile (medium) is cast in frostproof casting stone and can remain outdoors all year round. The ridgetile is 46cm high, 25cm wide, and the tile itself is 30cm in depth. From nose to tail this ornamental ridgetile is 45cm and weighs is about 10kg. The angle of the tile is 110 degrees and the pitch is 35 degrees. The colour is aged terracotta.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
