Cotswold Bacchus (long)
To the Romans the king of the harvest was Bacchus, known to the ancient Greeks as Dionysus. His purpose, according to mythology was to store and release the energy of nature, preside over the harvest, and thereby bring an end to care and worry.
Cast in frostproof casting stone the Bacchus is suitable for both indoors and outdoors. This piece is 31cm wide, 59cm high, and weighs about 12kg. The colour is Cotswold sandstone.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
Because of the size of this piece and the risk of breakage during transport we are unable to ship it. However, collection can be arranged at any time from our address in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
