Alderminster Green Man
Just a few miles from Shakespeare’s birthplace in Stratford on Avon lies the tiny village of Alderminster, the home of this vital and fiercely intelligent Green Man. He has an obvious affinity with the oak which is unsurprising, given that oakwood has been at the heart of Cotswold construction and design since well before recorded history.
Cast by hand in frost proof casting stone the Alderminster Green Man can remain outdoors all year round. The plaque has a strong cast hook for secure display, is 40cm in diameter and weighs about 8kg. The colour is Cotswold sandstone.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
