Description
Abbey Dore Green Man
In the old Cistercian abbey in the village of Abbey Dore, Herefordshire, lives this gentle Green Man. This reproduction is made by Simon Jameson of 1066 Creations, Shropshire. The story of the Green Man is one of the oldest in the world, dating from before the time of the earliest cave-paintings and recognised by the first humans who walked the earth. The Green Man represents the spirit and intelligence of the natural world.
All our ornaments are made and coloured by hand in our workshop in Zeeland, the Netherlands. Cast in frost-proof casting stone the Abbey Dore Green Man is suitable both indoors and outdoors. He is 12cm in diameter and weighs about 650 grams.
Actual colours can differ from the photos. Because all our ornaments are made and finished by hand no two are exactly alike.
